Q: What excites you most about your book’s topic? Why did you choose it?

Author: I think its fun to sew friends together.

Q: How long did the book take you from start to finish?

Author: It took me three weeks to write the manuscript and draw pictures for the book, and another three months to put everything together and editing.

Q: What aspect of writing the book did you find particularly challenging?

Author: That it’s not easy to make right long sentences.

Q: What surprised you the most about the book writing process?

Author: Even though sometimes writing is not that easy but it’s fun at the same time.

Q: Did you have any favorite experiences when writing your book?

Author: The best time I had after every chapter when was done for that day. Felt just perfect!

Q: What do you hope your readers will gain from reading your book?

Author: To always look for the positive, especially when you interacting with new people. You always have a choice to make in every moment in your life.

Q: What projects are you currently working on?

Author: I am writing my next book Sewing a Friendship 2. It’s about how girls help one of their friends to cheer up from her small injury and how their bond of friendship will increase their powers.

Q: Is writing your sole career? If not, what else do you do?

Author: I hope so and also I like to draw different characters and color them.

Q: Did you do any research for your books, or did you write from experience?

Author: I used my experience to interacting and observing other people: neighbors, teachers, my family and friends and realized that everyone has different opinions angels in the world.

Q: How did you come up with your title?

Author: I decided to write this book for kids how make friends and watching how my sister, mom and grandma were sewing pieces of cloth together gave me an idea.

Q: What books have influenced you the most?

Author:  Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney, My Sister Vampire by Sienna Mercer, Fancy Nancy by Jane O’Connor

Q: Who was your publisher and why did you choose them?

Author: We are self-publish and name of our publishing company is Tintinatie.

Q: Tell us a little bit about your book.

Author: Sewing a Friendship is all about friends, how to make friends by having courage to include others, not pre-judging other people, be creative and have fun.

Q: What inspired you to create a work of fiction?

Author: First of all I noticed that many children are lonely, depressed and upset because they don’t know how to make friends, open their hearts, talents and abilities, and be happy about themselves and also by observing other people: neighbors, teachers, my family and friends and realized that everyone has different opinions angels in the world.

Q: What did you do to prepare – such as research – to write your book?

Author: I just have pictures in my mind and some on paper, and started to write.

Q: How did you decide which information to present in your book?

Author: I try to have a good story with a problem solving to show everything is possible if you believe in it.

Q: What do you hope people will gain from reading your book?

Author: I wrote this book to empower children to use their talents and imagination to focus on the importance and power of true friendships.

Author: I did not look for it.

Author: Even though sometimes writing is not that easy but it’s fun at the same time and it takes a lot of time.

Q: What tips would you offer to anyone writing fiction for the first time?

Author: Be creative, don’t give up, believe in your message.

Q: What can we look forward to in your next book?

Author: I am writing my next book Sewing a Friendship 2. It’s about how girls help one of their friends to cheer up from her small injury and how their bond of friendship will increase their powers.

Author: Remember, the true friend reaches for your hand and touches your heart. And also that you always have a choice to make.
